Docent Program
Docents serve as the official hosts and hostesses of the museum, greeting guests and providing interpretation of the artifacts and exhibitions both informally and through guided tours.
Whether you have time to only commit to one morning or afternoon a month or would like to be active more frequently, we welcome your involvement!
The
The NMCHC was founded by a dedicated group of volunteers, some of whom remain active.
With the exception of a part time office manager, the entire museum is run by its Volunteers!
Volunteer Opportunities Abound…no matter what your interest.

To become a docent you must be a member in good standing of the

Financial and in-kind gifts of all kinds are welcome! Whether you have an historic item, an item that could be raffled, used in the office or building, please contact the museum.
